EU Motorways of the Sea Open Call

The North Sea region – which includes Ireland – has published its open Call for Tenders for projects for EU funding.

This is open to consortia over a wide range of related activities, including terminal operators, logistic operators, infrastructure owners (including road and rail access to ports), shipbrokers and financial institutions.

The Call covers infrastructural development, pilot projects for new technologies – and also studies related to the feasibility or scope of a potential project.

EU funding is normally 20% of infrastructural projects accepted, or 50% of the cost of studies or pilot actions.
