Irish Ferries announces new service on Dover – Calais route. Irish Ferries, a subsidiary of Irish Continental Group plc (ICG), is pleased to announce a new service on the Dover – Calais route. This service is planned to start in June 2021, with the transfer of the Isle of Inishmore to the route. Additional capacity will be added in the coming months.

Irish Ferries is pleased to announce the addition of the RoRo passenger ferry Blue Star 1 to its Rosslare to Pembroke Dock route. The ship is being chartered from the Attica Group and delivery is expected in early April 2021.

Rosslare Europort has welcomed the announcement by DFDS that – from 1st April – the shipping line will introduce a fourth freight ferry to the successful direct ferry service between Rosslare Europort in Ireland and the Grand Port of Dunkerque in Northern France.

Launching on January 25th, the fixed day service departs from the TMA Terminal Amsterdam on Monday evenings for arrival in Dublin on Wednesday and a weekend return to Amsterdam. This complements Samskip’s existing Rotterdam-Ireland shortsea services by offering rail, barge and road customers in the Netherlands a new Monday night departure to Ireland.
