Containerships is Adding a Call to the Port of Cork
Containerships, an affiliate of CMA CGM, is adding a call to the Irish Port of Cork.
This enhancement to the Beni service starts on 1 September. This direct short sea connection links Cork further to Rotterdam.
The intermodal network connections via Rotterdam include not only distribution across mainland Europe, but also further services covering ports in Scandinavia, Finland, Russia, the Baltic states well as the Canary Islands and Morocco. From now on, Cork will be called twice a week. (mw)
