Irish Shipping Market Response to Brexit
In response to the delays, disruption and uncertainty created by Brexit for the Irish shipping industry, there has been an unprecedented response by maritime shipping operators to add capacity on direct continental RoRo routes.
There have been at least 20 different interventions by shipping operators in the unitised (RoRo (un-accompanies and unaccompanied) & LoLo) freight market that have responded to the increased demand for direct continental services.
