IMDO Appoints New Business Development Manager

The IMDO is delighted to announce the appointment of Kate Farrell as Business Development Manager.

With over 20 years’ experience in the maritime industry, Kate has a strong track record in delivering strategic initiatives that support sectoral growth and collaboration.

Most recently, Kate led the successful delivery of the MaritecX/CMMI project on behalf of the IMDO and the wider Marine Institute, working closely with national and European partners to strengthen maritime capability and innovation.

In her new role, Kate will lead business development activity focused on advancing the profile of the maritime industry, strengthening stakeholder engagement, and supporting sustainable growth across the sector. Kate will also lead the development of international partnerships across research and industry, supporting the growth of Ireland’s reputation as a compelling place to do business in this sector.
